Subject: Re: [ECOS] Configuration of printf output
Date: Tue, 09 Dec 2003 09:28:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200312090927.hB99RpQ11070@mailgate5.cinetic.de> (raw)

Hello,
I have configured the parameters, see below, but my console is now"/dev/pts/4" but i don't see the hello world message. is the ecos configuration is only for tty console not for pts? I don't know is something is wrong, a connection or configuration.I would like to solve this before installling Redboot.
/dev/ser0-->Phisical port for the board
/dev/pts/0-->my console
/dev/ttyS0/-->COM port

Thanks a lot

This works fine if you are using gdb, but also standalone (e.g. with minicom or HyperTerminal connected to Redboot). Messing around with the serial configuration is not a good idea if you don't know exactly what you are doing.
