Hii,
 can anybody help me in accessing sockets in ecos on linux synth target.
 There is no 'network.h' file in 'include' directory. and also 
no socket.h in 'include/sys/' directory.

Have you actually included the networking support in your eCos
configuration? The default template does not include any networking
support because not all embedded targets provide appropriate hardware
for TCP/IP networking. Instead you should create the configuration
using the net template.
