hi list,
I have one worked redboot, but I can not use minicom to download file to ram,
I use command as follows:
+
RedBoot(tm) bootstrap and debug environment [ROM]
Non-certified release, version UNKNOWN - built 16:25:18, Jun 1 2004
Platform: Atmel AT91/EB40 (ARM7TDMI)
Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, Red Hat, Inc.
RAM: 0x02000000-0x02200000, [0x02006c40-0x02200000] available
FLASH: 0x01000000 - 0x01100000, 16 blocks of 0x00010000 bytes each.

redboot> load -r -v -b 0x02020000 -m xmodem
and I choose xmodem and file(this file is uclinux.bin)
and I have this info:
Sending uclinux.bin,10121 blocks;Give your local XMODEM receive command now.
Xmodem sectors/kbytes sent: 0/0kRetry 0: Got 08 for sector ACK
Retry 0;Got 08 for sector ACK
......
Retry 0:NAK on sector
Retry 0:Got 0d for sector ACK

This is a redboot of your own and it is running on custom hardware.
Please tell the list what is your board and what differs from supported
hardware.

There are many reasons to fail there :
 - bad amount of memory
 - bad configuration of EBI (timings)
 - overrun of an underclocked processor
 ...

give the list more info then someone may help you.
