Hello everyone,
I was trying to run ppp on arm
evaluator7t. I have included the ppp package and when
i tried to run a sample program ppp_updown.c the
object file is created but exe file is not generated
and i get the following error:
/opt/ecos/gnutools/arm-elf/bin/../lib/gcc-lib/arm-elf/3.2.1/../../../../arm-elf/bin/ld:
address 0xdd730 of ppp_updown section .bss is not
within region ram
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
From the previous mailing archive i found tht this
error comes if the memory is not sufficient.
My doubt is that if such a small program also can't be
run on the board how can we get ppp running on it??
Has anyone tried doing this through some other
alternative?
