hi,
the constructors for stdin, stdout never seem to be called, because when i try to use these objects, flags like-- flags.opened_for_read, flags.opened_for_write dont seem to be set to that particular value.
can anybody please tell me what i'm missing out on.
thanks,
rajeev

Have you changed any option to do with constructors in your configuration?
Are you using a version of gcc at least as recent as gcc 2.95.2?
