Hi all,

While building my ecos for i386 PC Target i got the following error:

*******************************************
from
//C/PROGRA~1/REDHAT~1/eCos/packages/hal/common/v1_3_1/src/generic-stub.c:1:
//C/eCos/New-i386/i386-new_install/include/cyg/hal/hal_stub.h:52: pkgconf/hal.h:
No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [src/generic-stub.o.d] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/c/eCos/New-i386/i386-new_build/hal/common/v1_3_1'
make: *** [build] Error 2

*** Process -460775 terminated (rc=2)

and indeed my repository does not have the "hal.h" file.

when i checked out in CVS it said "in attic". what does this mean?
where can i get the hal.h file? can anyone help me plz.

regards

krishna

The file is created from your configuration when saving it in the
configuration tool, or when running "ecosconfig tree" on the command line.
Have you tried building on the command line? Are you sure there were no
errors before this? The place to look for a hal.h is either
include/pkgconf/hal.h in your install tree BTW, just to be sure. It doesn't
exist in the source tree - it is generated.
