I have a question. Can I use ecos's tools to build a boot image without
redboot ?
How can I do if it does ?

Yes, normally it's just a matter of changing the startup type from "RAM" to
"ROM", rebuilding eCos, and relinking your application with the updated
eCos. There may be some subtleties depending on your target though.
