Is there any database support (mySQL, Postgresql, ODBC/JDBC >..) in eCOS ?

No. I doubt they could easily be ported either.

Perhaps limiting one's efforts to porting the client side of these
packages would be feasible and useful.

Potentially. But has anyone cross built RHDB/postgresql before at all?
Normally just adapting a "native" package for cross compilation is quite an
effort in itself, never mind the actual porting. If they have, then maybe
it wouldn't be so difficult after all...
