Hi all:
   I downloaded the newest ecos repository and try to use external interrupt
for ARM E7T board. it seems it does work as before. Has anyone got such
problem? Thanks a lot!

program attached:

cyg_handle_t ext_IRQ0_H;
cyg_interrupt intr;

cyg_uint32 EXT_IRQ0_handler(cyg_vector_t vector, cyg_addrword_t data)
{

	diag_printf("\n EXT_IO ISR!!\n");
	cyg_interrupt_acknowledge(vector);
	return CYG_ISR_HANDLED;
}

int cyg_user_start(void)
{
	// set the Port8 as Ext IRQ0 and enabled
	IOPCON = 0x010;

	cyg_interrupt_configure(CYGNUM_HAL_INTERRUPT_EXT0,1,0);
	cyg_interrupt_unmask(CYGNUM_HAL_INTERRUPT_EXT0);
	cyg_interrupt_create(CYGNUM_HAL_INTERRUPT_EXT0,3, 0,
&EXT_IRQ0_handler,NULL, &ext_IRQ0_H, &intr);
	cyg_interrupt_attach(ext_IRQ0_H);
	cyg_interrupt_enable();
	while(1)
	{
		}
	return 0;

}

when the external IO port set high, no interrupt generated.

Thanks a lot

best regards

james

    Hi James,

        Even, I am working on eCos ARM7T problem.
        I am not able to communicate with serial (RS-232)
        ports.
        i.e, I am not able to read/write from serial port.
        But, my console works fine.

        Can you think of, where exactly could be the problem ?

        Vinayak
