Dear Sir,

With the invironment of Cygwin ,I want to install the eCos configuration tool.
I downloaded "configtool-2.11-i386.tar.gz" and with the help of 'tar',I have installed it in the according directory.

I am sure that all is done under the instrusions of the expert on the net.
While when I excute the command of './configtool ',it shows as follows :

Administrator@xuwenxian /opt/ecos/configtool/bin/configtool-2.11
$ ./configtool
./configtool: 1: Syntax error: ")" unexpected


I don't know why.

I'm also using eCos under Cygwin,  but I found more practical directly using
the Windows graphical tools: at least it does not give compilation/execution
problems! I got the "configtool-2.11-setup"  file and
"wxMSW-010514-setup.zip" libraries from the
www.sources.redhat.com/ecos/mirror.html website. Install libraries and then
execute the setup, it should work just fine.

You're trying to run the linux file :-). I could suggest a different 
configuration tool file, but it's probably easiest if I just recommend 
using 2.0 beta 1 instead: http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/getstart.html
