Subject: [ECOS] Building Redboot for ec555 from Wuerz
Date: Tue, 10 Aug 2004 15:36:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4118EB77.4020701@bluewin.ch> (raw)
Hi at all,
I want build redboot for the ec555 board from wuerz but there are some problems.
I tried to use a template from the eCos Configuratin Tool. It generates a *.elf file.
So i converted it to a binary with powerpc-eabi-objcopy (bin-file about 85kb). With the internal rommonitor delivered by wuerz i burned this image to the external flash.
Then i set the jumper on the board to for booting from the external flash.
I found the binary file is in the memory, but i can't connect to redboot.
I began to bild a lot of other variants of redboot, gdb-stub or default ecos with common gdb-module (78kb) without a chance.
Can anyone help me?
