Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback and patches to date. Thanks, also, to the other eCos maintainers who have been busy reviewing and committing patches. eCos architectural support is in good shape across all the popular processor architectures and the new toolchains based on GCC 4 are also looking solid. Please note that updated builds of the arm-eabi toolchain for both Windows and Linux hosts are now available for testing. These builds are dated 2008-12-13 and correct a problem with non-interworking multi-libs in the earlier builds. They can be downloaded from your local eCos mirror site or directly from sourceware.org at: ftp://ecos.sourceware.org/pub/ecos/gnutools/ Work remaining towards eCos 3.0 includes the global adjustment of CFLAGS and LDFLAGS to accommodate the new toolchains, some changes to initialisation priorities and the global copyright banner update to reflect the transfer of copyright ownership to the FSF.
