This command line isn't correct. Should contain flags: -mthumb
-mcpu=cortex-m3 (if you are using gcc-4.6 or newer you can also put
-mcpu=cortex-m4)
Recommended: -O2
I recommend you, as a template, to use the Makefile provided with examples.
