I suspect there was a configure problem, because absence-of-toolkit errors 
should be picked up at the configure stage.

I recently corrected some compilos in Configtool so it will compile against 
the latest wxWindows CVS trunk. I also updated stable wxWindows snapshots 
for Windows and Linux and made them available within Red Hat but it will 
need to wait until Jonathan Larmour comes back from holiday next week 
before they are put on the ftp site.

There are precompiled versions of the configtool for Linux and Windows on 
the ftp site.

ecosconfig is quite easy to build using 'configure' in the host directory.
