Hi all:
The port for the Altera Excalibur is start with 8-bit data width for the
EBI to interface the flash memory(Does that mean it just use the D0~D7 and
ignore D8~D15?). But the memory used on the board is 16-bit data width. and
also in the ecos code it didn't change it to 16-bit data width mode, will
that waste flash memory?
e.g.
Altera Excalibur 8-bit --> 16-bit flash memory so

D0~D7 will be transfered into uP, while D8~D15 will be ignored -->1 byte
program code occupy the lower byte of the 16-bit in the flash memory,, while
the higher byte is not in used.
Am I wrong about this? Thanks a lot.
