Hello,
I am creating a partition in flash, using the command
fis create -b 0x00000000 -e 0x00000000 -r 0x00000000 -l 0x007A0000 -f
0xa8030000 -n Image

and then write data that is waay smaller than the size of the image.
fis load always used to give out errors, but when i flashed a linux
kernel elf file, i got the following error
<snip>
lzmaInternalSize=52844 is greater LZMA_MAX_SIZE=16000.
lzma_decode failed. res=1
ELF image parsering begin...
Can't read ELF header
ELF image parsering done...
</snip>

The error normally given is
<snip>
lzma_decode failed. res=1
</snip>

Help would be appreciated,
Harish

Just a small update

I create a flash partition of size
fis create -b 0x00000000 -e 0x00000000 -r 0x00000000 -l 0x003C03E8 -f
0xa8030000 -n Image

where
3C03E8 is about 1000 bytes greater than the size of the largest image
in the set i am trying to flash

Writing the elf file directly gives
<snip>
Kernel: new Image size
fis load -l -b %{freememlo} -c Image
lzmaInternalSize=52844 is greater LZMA_MAX_SIZE=16000.
lzma_decode failed. res=1
ELF image parsering begin...
Can't read ELF header
ELF image parsering done...
Checksum: 0xecec3601
</snip>

Loading
fis load -b %{freememlo} -l -c Image
too long file.
lzma_decode failed. res=1
Checksum: 0xc360955a

And go seems to hand the serial console.

as again,

Help would be greatly appreciated,
Harish

oops, I did RTFM
in the context of fis load, -l is used to indicate a LZMA ??

Given that -l flag is not given at,
http://ecos.sourceware.org/docs-latest/redboot/fis-load-command.html.

I would guess the redboot that is flashed here is out of tree. I also
assume that, this would be the wrong place to come to for help.
