[ECOS] eCos networking support -- a Newbie's question

Hi 
 
I am new to eCos. Could someone advise where I can find info regarding eCos networking support? I wonder whether it has configuration options or use open source packages (like Linux does) to support vlan, bridging, routing, firewall, dhcp, dns, ppp, etc.

The downloaded CVS of ecos includes a reference manual. However, I found  
it rather cumbersome to bring it into a readable form. One has to install  
docbook and a lot of libraries. So in order to speed things up a bit for  
you, I have copied "my" pdf-manual to www.brusag.xyz.

Thanks!  That's been a sore point for a long time.  I find the
one-section-per-web-page approach of the online version to be
very difficult to use.  The main problem is that there's no way
to search through the document (either visually or
electronically) to find what you want.

At one point I spent the better part of a day trying to get
docbook set up so that I could generate a pdf version, but I
wasn't successful.

vlan: No
Bridging: Yes - there is a test program
routing: Stack can route packets, but there are no routing daemons
firewall: No
dhcp: Client
dns: Client
ppp: Yes see the ppp package and its documentation.
