Anybody know what happened to the examples directory in CVS? Its
empty.

Yes the stuff is there but accidentally deleted in an old merge, probably
when I had made an overhaul of the export script a while back (May 20th
evidently). That obviously won't be a problem again so I'll reinstate it
and it should stay reinstated.
