Subject: Assignment notification

Dudes
Please can you either (a) raise the 100K limit on postings to
ecos-maintainers (even if it is just for me); and (b) remove the
restriction on binary postings (e.g. .zip files); or (c) give me another
route to notify you of new assignments.
When I get an assignment and scan the copy in using a reasonable
resolution so you can at least read the thing, the size of the resulting
document is just too big to be accepted by the ecos-maintainers list. I
wasted around an hour last week trying to get the size down small
enough, only to be refused by (b) above when I finally did manage to get
a doc compressed below 100K.
Thanks
