Sometimes it can happen that multiple clients ask for the same file at about
the same time.  If that file is in an archive, it is a waste to decompress =
the
archive multiple times.  It's better to let the second request WAIT for the
first to finish, then send the resulting file (where it's likely to be sitt=
ing
in the fdcache).
