Subject: [Bug general/5868] New: fhpd not following fork/exec
Date: Tue, 04 Mar 2008 21:59:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20080304215839.5868.tromey@redhat.com> (raw)

I tried running fhpd on gcc, when I really wanted to be debugging cc1.
>From discussion on irc I think this should work.

I did:

mopsy. fhpd /home/tromey/incremental/build/gcc/xgcc
Loaded executable file: /home/tromey/incremental/build/gcc/xgcc
(fhpd) b fprintf
b fprintf
breakpoint 0 deferred
(fhpd) run -B/home/tromey/incremental/build/gcc/
/home/tromey/incremental/trunk/gcc/testsuite/treelang/compile/autofunc.tree
-S -o autofunc.s
run -B/home/tromey/incremental/build/gcc/
/home/tromey/incremental/trunk/gcc/testsuite/treelang/compile/autofunc.tree
-S -o autofunc.s
Attached to process 5661
starting/running with this command: /home/tromey/incremental/build/gcc/xgcc
-B/home/tromey/incremental/build/gcc/
/home/tromey/incremental/trunk/gcc/testsuite/treelang/compile/autofunc.tree -S
-o autofunc.s
Running process 5661
(fhpd) Unable to open input file <built-in>
Task 5661 is exiting with status 1

I think it ought to stop when the fprintf happens (the "<built-in>" message)
