Elfutils
-1.125 is in rawhide
-plan is to refresh frysk's copy
-size of debug_info elfutils can handle is probably limited to address
space but issue is less critical for 8664

Breakpoint
-desired: can set multiple breakpoints, e.g. inlining
-desired: can set breakpoint in shared libraries
 -can look at system calls and use mmap to determine .so is loaded
 -OR set a breakpoint in the dynamic loader and note when map is changed
  -plan is to have utrace give us a good interface for this
-some of this is already tested in various ways by systemtap
-desired further out: tagsets for predefined breakpoints
-task state bug 3872 (mjw)
 -funit-asm.h may be helpful for this type of testing

Stack backtrace
-checking addresses returned by libunwind
-test should create frames for various types of frames
 -have test segfault
 -trick is to setup debug info
-many folks (gui, fhpd) are rolling their own stack backtraces
 -good candidate for an iterator

fhpd
-backtrace is now consistent with fstack
-remove dwarf info from fhpd (scox)
-add core functionality to fhpd (pmuldoon)
 -long term: add background capability to fhpd

java 1.5 
-available in fc7
-then we can use functionality in java 1.5 like generics
 -autoboxing (automatic conversion of primitive types to/from
containers)
 -enums, varargs, and for-each loops
