Yeah, in other projects I found that make dist is only really reliable if you make sure make distcheck passes. That can at times be a lot of work though. But if you achieve that and have an autobuilder to make sure that it keeps being distcheck clean (luckily Kris already set one up) then it is easy to keep up to date. An it really helps making sure that the release tar ball you distribute is fully self-contained and buildable for outside hackers not wanting to rely on cvs. Cheers, Mark --=-BTHVjWtNyNb3YUAIn9PX Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part Content-length: 189 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBGePGdxVhZCJWr9QwRAqnlAJ0a+jj81S4k5gFnaGXp8fl9rklWHgCfUwn+ ZM7wBMpr72MG7I4CBfFKg+4= =E1Vp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-BTHVjWtNyNb3YUAIn9PX--
