Yea,

We was bitten by the CVS import "feature" - the need to touch all files 
before starting the import.  CVS doco didn't mention this so I assumed 
it all worked now, oops!

I've updated the cvs notes (http://sourceware.org/frysk/build/#faq-cvs) 
to hopefully clarify this for next time :-)
