Sami and I have been working on the proposed GUI changes on our own
branch for the past little while, and I thought I'd post some
screenshots of what has come up so far, and ask for some feedback.
The access to the source window has been removed from the session
manager, and instead placed in the druid, where the 'selected' processes
are listed in the right-hand-side listview, the same also used for
setting up a monitoring session. Furthermore, the event viewer is now
brought up directly from the druid rather than closing the druid and
then re-opening the session from the session manager. Finally, more
process-specific information is available in the druid.

Those look pretty good to me Mike!
A couple of comments:
1) Was there a reason for the druid windows not having
maximize/minimize buttons in the upper right-hand corner?
2) Could you place a "Help" button in the lower left-hand corner on the
druid screens as there is in the session manager screen. I can hook
those into the help system if you could just put the button there.
Nice work!
Rick

Looks like the original druid doesn't have those either - but I can't
see any reason why it shouldn't have them. Good call!

No problemo.
Thanks!

Mike
Should the "Observed Processes" view have columns to make the display
more even (homogeneous)?
Regards
Phil

I think eventually the right-hand view may just match the left-hand one
exactly, in terms of columns displayed. I'm open to suggestions of
course, but what I'm going to commit today will look pretty much like
what was in those screen shots, and we can figure out the details this week!
