Subject: getType().getSize() safe/correct way to determine Register size?
Date: Wed, 17 Oct 2007 13:11:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <47160A0A.3010406@redhat.com> (raw)
As the subject says, but pedantically:
int registerSize = IA32Registers.EAX.getType().getSize();
byte[] byteOrderedRegister = new byte[registerSize];
task.access(IA32Registers.EAX, 0, registerSize, byteOrderedRegister,
0, false);
Is this a safe/correct way to determine register size?
If not, any other way?
Regards
Phil
