Subject: libg++-2.8.1.2a-19981209 available
Date: Thu, 04 Dec 1997 14:03:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <13936.5672.873773.887213@saturn.hollstein.net> (raw)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
The following files are now available in the "infrastructure" directory
at egcs.cygnus.com and the usual mirror sites (see below for list or go
to < http://egcs.cygnus.com/mirrors.html >):
libg++-2.8.1.2a-19981209.tar.gz 696,761 bytes
libg++-2.8.1.2-2.8.1.2a-19981209.diff.gz 9,337 bytes
libg++-2.8.1.2a-19981114-2.8.1.2a-19981209.diff.gz 4306 bytes
Changes from libg++-2.8.1.2a-19981209:
- Fix for generating g++FAQ.
- New config go32.
- Fix for handling --with-gxx-include-dir ourselves.
- Fix various ISO-C++ related bugs/problems.
- Add a missing prototype when not optimizing.
- Fix various sign extension problems in String.
- Fix a compatibility problem with old libc vs. current glibc.
As with all 2.8.1.x releases, this file is an add-on to egcs-1.x (and
snapshots) and/or libstdc++-2.8.1.1. To install, move all files and
directories into egcs' resp. libstdc++'s toplevel directory;
see the README.libg++.
Please note, libg++ is unsupported. You should not start new projects
using libg++; it is an excellent testbed for the new compilers, though.
You should use the STL from egcs or libstdc++ instead.
