Hello,

I've been having an unusually busy school week, thus the lack of
updates. Here's what I have from the last 5 days or so... Thanks,

Dara

Closed. Thanks for spotting the actual problem (I jumped to the 'make' vs
'make bootstrap' stuff but didn't see /bin/sh on the command line).

But, please, make sure to Cc gcc-bugs when posting messages about bugs.

Done except:

Why? You said the bug is still present in 3.3 and mainline.

> 8869
Why? According to audit trail ICE is still present.

Added another question.

Already in list of bugs to be closed.

Feedback already in Audit Trail.

I'd be more than surprised if this started to work again with 3.3.
IIRC SunOS 4.1.4 is deprecated or even removed in 3.3.

Feedback already in Audit Trail.

Already on list of Bugs to close.

This requests develloper feedback. I don't think we use feedback for this.

    regards Christian

I've no objection to doing so, it's just that I felt I
was unnecessarily clogging up the list, and since the
info. is always in the gnats audit trail, I assumed it
was cleaner to do it that way...

Audit trail missing two messages. I've forwarded them
now (thought I had before, but must've been mistaken).
In short, the submitter appears to have a bad libgcc
(from 3.2), so our method of confirming it was flawed.
Another AVR user claimed he could not reproduce the
bug.

So this should still be closed.

Mea culpa. Blame it one late night dyslexia...

That should've been 8689. Submitter says it is now
fixed.

Yup, Eric is one step ahead of me...

True, you're correct.

Didn't realize that, my mistake. I'd assumed that a
lot of the SunOS/Solaris problems we had were fixed in
3.3. My bad...

Right sorry. The list was made over several days, and
I missed that...
>

Just got a response today saying it worked fine. That
makes this a documentation bug at this point (install
docs. says this doesn't work on IRIX)

> > 3355

Fair enough. I put this on the list before the message
bounced...

Thanks, and sorry for the errors,

Dara
