I think this may have been fixed by Roger Sayle's patch on
2003-02-25.

Gaby, I think the problem is that we don't have a clue of what you mean 
with "built-in functions are not marked as such". If you could please verify 
yourself if Roger's patch fixed this, or at least explain us what we should 
check (code snippet, or whatever), that would be great. Thanks.

maybe this one should just be closed because nobody except the reporter has a
clue of what this is about.  Gabriel, can you throw us a bone here, or I'll just
close it as INVALID (because of the lack of a proper problem
description/how-to-repeat guide).

The reporter knew what was happening.

Roger had worked in this area and fixed the built-ins at fault.  This
bug was observed through the debug information output
-fdump-translation-unit.
