In any case 3.2 is rather old at this point, and gcc 3.3 supposedly has fixed this problem. If you have a particular interest in using gcc 3.2, I believe the "--enable-libunwind- exceptions " option for configure should allow you to build. With gcc 3.3, everything should build right out of the box. Would it be possible for you to try either of these two solutions? Thanks, Dara
