The configure options used were: --enable-languages=c,c++,java
--with-dwarf2 --disable-multilib --enable-threads=posix
(--enable-threads=single on hp10.20) --enable-concept-checks
--enable-clocale=generic.
Also, I've since discovered that the problem goes away if --with-dwarf2
is omitted.
