------- Additional Comments From pinskia at gcc dot gnu dot org 2003-08-24 16:27 -------
This looks fixed on the mainline (20030824):
test:
.LFB3:
        st %r13,52(%r15)
.LCFI0:
        bras %r13,.L3
.L2:
        .align 4
.LC0:
        .long global_var
        .align 2
.L3:
        l %r1,.LC0-.L2(%r13)
        l %r0,0(%r1)
#APP
        %r0
#NO_APP
        l %r13,52(%r15)
        br %r14
Could you comment on if this asm is right, I added %0 to the asm to see what the register
is?

Yes, it looks like this was fixed by:

date: 2003/07/26 15:53:14; author: rth; state: Exp; lines: +10 -0
        PR inline-asm/11676
        * cse.c (count_reg_usage): Handle asm_operands properly.

In fact, this whole bug appears to be a duplicate of 11676.
I've resolved the bug accordingly.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 11676 ***
