GCC Version 3.3.2System is Linux on s390 (31 bit system running RedHat 7.2) 
 
Options when building GCC were:  
   ../gcc-3.3.2/configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc/3.3.2 
   make bootstrap 
   make install 
 
While building PostgreSQL 7.3.4:  gcc -O2 -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes 
-Wmissing-declarations -Wno-error -I./../include -I. -I../../../../src/include  
-DMAJOR_VERSION=2 -DMINOR_VERSION=10 -DPATCHLEVEL=0 -DINCLUDE_PATH=\"/usr/
local/pgsql/include\"   -c -o preproc.o preproc.c 
gcc: Internal error: Killed (program cc1)
