From: "bangerth at dealii dot org" <gcc-bugzilla@gcc.gnu.org> To: gcc-bugs@gcc.gnu.org Subject: [Bug bootstrap/13443] config.guess error on HP-UX 11.11 using HP ANSI C++ Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2003 14:29:00 -0000 [thread overview] Message-ID: <20031219141748.24597.qmail@sources.redhat.com> (raw) In-Reply-To: <20031219125942.13443.carsten.traebing@de.ina.com> ------- Additional Comments From bangerth at dealii dot org 2003-12-19 14:17 ------- A C++ compiler should in most cases work as a ANSI C compiler as well. Whether this works in this case is another matter, but I would say that this is a bug in the configure machinery, rather than a user error here. Thus, I am reopening this PR.
