Can you try them and say if they work because the report > in PR 6669 is that they work. I can confirm that gcc-3.4-20031217 can be bootstrapped with the gcc binary mentioned above. I did configure it like that one, while my original (failed) attempt was with GNU as/ld. So, I will repeat once more to see if that was the cause of this faillure.
