No that's not what's needed. What's needed is %f0 = xfi.f lower 32-bits of %i0 = xfi.i higher 32-bits of %i1 - xfi.j So the RTL is OK for the first two, but wrong for the last one. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13559
