[Bug other/13763] New: Can't compile snapshot on SuSE 8.2/ 9.0 and possbily on 9.0(Athlon64)

I can't compile gcc 3.4-snapshot as I reported here:

Then I got an answer:

I've tested it under SuSE 9.0 and 8.2 with the latest two snapshots from the ftp
(gcc-3.4-20040114.tar.bz2, gcc-3.4-20040107.tar.bz2). The installed compilers
are 3.3.1 for SuSE 9.0 and 3.3-prereleaseXXXXX for SuSE 8.2 (which seems to be
buggy imho, but this shouldn't matter here). I did ./configure without any
parameters.
And I know that I could compile gcc 3.4 snapshot on 9.0 before approx. 2 months.
I can test with SuSE 8.1 also if you want.
Please let me know if you need more informations.

Thanks for you report. As it happens, the other guy who had the same problem also submitted a 
report, so I think we can close this as a duplicate. However, if you could send your configuration 
information to the other report, I'd greatly appreciate it. Particularly, does the problem happen if 
you configure from a directory other than the source directory? Thanks again.
