Trying to bootstrap gcc 3.4.0 on alphaev6-dec-osf5.1 fails while configuring in
the libffi directory.  The problem is an unquoted variable in a test statement
in the script; this might actually be a bug in autoconf 2.13.

A workaround is given in

http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2004-04/msg01155.html

but this is not the correct fix (as it directly patches a generated file).

This is a dup of bug 15093.  Using the bash shell as the config shell will work.
