I'm running Caldera 2.3 at the 2.4.22 Kernel Level on a Pentium II.
There is 64 Mb of RAM on this System
My GCC is 3.0.4.
My GLIBC is 2.2.5.

I'm attempting to update GCC to the 3.3 Level.
Due to limited Disk space, I'm using the "make bootstrap-lean" option.

After running 3 1/2 Hours, I get the following messages:

Out of Memory: Killed Process ...
collect2:ld terminated with signal 15 [terminated]
make[3]: ***[libgcj.la] Error 1

Any assistance in getting this problem resolved would be greatly appreciated.

Yours truly,

Frank Krauss

Not a GCC bug, ld was the program that ran out of memory, report it to binutils. I would try a newer
binutils before report though.

Thank you very much for the quick Response.

I will look into this from the Binutils side.
