Hi,
I'm getting an ICE with g++ 3.4. Here are the details:
% g++ -v
Reading specs from
/opt/gcc-3.4/lib/gcc/i686-redhat-linux-gnu/3.4.0/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.4.0/configure --prefix=/opt/gcc-3.4
--enable-version-specific-runtime-libs --enable-languages=c,c++,f77
--host=i686-redhat-linux-gnu --target=i686-redhat-linux-gnu
--enable-long-long --enable-shared --enable-threads=posix
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.4.0
Compile:
% g++ -c gcc_ice.ii
gcc_ice.cc:34: internal compiler error: in instantiate_type, at
cp/class.c:6164
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions.
I attached the preprocessed file that reproduces the bug. Note that the
code did compile fine with gcc 3.3. I am not 100% that it complies with
the standard (I _think_ it's OK), but nontheless, it should produce an
ICE.
In case it matters, I'm running Fedora Core 1 with a 2.6.5-mm6
kernel on a Pentium-M CPU.

This is a dup of bug 15285 which is fixed for 3.4.1 and 3.5.0 already.
