* [Bug c++/16091] New: -fdump-tree-original broken by callgraph @ 2004-06-20 9:44 ebotcazou at gcc dot gnu dot org 2004-06-20 16:40 ` [Bug c++/16091] [3.4 only] " pinskia at gcc dot gnu dot org ` (3 more replies) 0 siblings, 4 replies; 5+ messages in thread From: ebotcazou at gcc dot gnu dot org @ 2004-06-20 9:44 UTC (permalink / raw) To: gcc-bugs -fdump-tree-original doesn't dump the original function trees anymore when optimization is enabled; instead, it is an alias for -fdump-tree-inlined. The problem is that -fdump-tree-original is handled by optimize_function, which is called by expand_body. But expand_body is lang_hooks.callgraph.expand_function for the C++ front-end and is invoked by cgraph_expand_function *after* cgraph_optimize_function, the latter doing tree-inlining when optimization is enabled. -- Summary: -fdump-tree-original broken by callgraph Product: gcc Version: 3.4.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: c++ AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org ReportedBy: ebotcazou at gcc dot gnu dot org CC: gcc-bugs at gcc dot gnu dot org GCC build triplet: *-*-* GCC host triplet: *-*-* GCC target triplet: *-*-* http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16091 ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread
