[Bug target/16152] New: perl-5.8.4 fails to build using gcc-3.3.4 on {ia64,arm,m68k}-linux

sorry, unfortunately the symptom only.

on {ia64,arm,m68k}-linux 3.3.4 fails to build a working miniperl, the one built
segfaults on the first invocation.

on ia64-linux, 5.8.3 builds using 3.3.4, 5.8.4 builds using 3.4 and using the
3.3 hammer branch.

maybe not a gcc regression in a strict sense.

We need some kind of preprocessed source, otherwise there is not much we can do 
about this.

I've just reproduced this on arm-netbsdelf using gcc-3.3.3.  I've managed to
track it down to a miscompilation of pp_hot.c, and the key flag seems to be
-fcse-skip-blocks (-O2 -fno-cse-skip-blocks is OK, -O2 is not).

It's hard to be completely sure what's wrong here, but something *very*
suspcision appears near original source line 2669.
The good code (on ARM) contains:

but the bad code has

Note that in the second case r3 is only incremented by 1 not 2.  This seems to
have come from the following pre-processed sequence:
