The documentation of the implementation-defined behaviour is incomplete. In some
cases there are only the sentences from the language standards but not a single
word about how it is implemented. There should at least be the word TODO
(better: FIXME) to indicate that there is a sentence missing.

example: chapter 4.1, item 2

C99, J.3#1: ``A conforming implementation is _required_ to document its choice
of behavior in _each_ of the areas listed in this subclause.''

This is not the case on mainline. If you have specific criticisms of
implement-c.texi on mainline, or the documentation of preprocessor
implementation-defined behavior referred to therein, i.e. the absence of
specification of some given area, errors or inadequacies in the
specification given or objections to the specification of a given area
being referred to preprocessor documentation, ABI documentation or library
documentation, please state them more specifically.

NB: the lack of target-specific documentation for a given target saying
that "on this target we follow the ABI given in document X" is a
target-specific bug, and the current mood is that such bugs, component
"target", should be filed separately for each target.

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't have a look at this. It looks very good. Please
close the bug report.

No, thanks. I just wanted the general document to be filled out.

Thanks again for pointing me on the mainline. I'm looking forward to the
release of GCC 3.5.0.
