This is from NIST FM 517, a slightly reduced test case.

$ cat altreturn.f
      subroutine first(i)
      entry second(j, *)
      return (j)
      end
$ g77 -c altreturn.f
$ gfortran -c altreturn.f
altreturn.f: In function 'first':
altreturn.f:1: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
