I'm trying to build LinuxFromScratch.org book 6.0 on a DecAlpha. LFS chapter 5
pass1 and pass2 complete with no errors, but gcc-3.4.1 *AND* gcc-3.4.3 both fail
when trying to compile gcc/unwind-dw2.c in chapter 6 (the big difference being
that in chapter 6, I'm building in the bootstrapped environment for installation
into /usr, rather than linked against libraries in /tools/lib and installed into
/tools/bin. I don't understand why it makes a difference...)
gcc -v for the compiler being used to make gcc-3.4.3:
Reading specs from /tools/lib/gcc/alphaev56-unknown-linux-gnu/3.4.1/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.4.1/configure --prefix=/tools --libexecdir=/tools/lib
--with-local-prefix=/tools --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-shared
--enable-threads=posix --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-languages=c,c++
--disable-libstdcxx-pch
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.4.1

Hmm, the only thing I can think of, is that the build mechenism is picking up the wrong system header
since this source uses the system headers for the struct sigcontext.

So its likely that I've screwed up with either the linux kernel
headers or in the glibc install?

This works for everyone else (really just RTH). But anyways, this cannot be a gcc bug as it looks like
you changed the headers and it will fix the problem.
