Subject: [Bug middle-end/20218] New: Can't use __attribute__ ((visibility ("hidden"))) to hide a symbol
Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2005 19:20:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20050225230026.20218.hjl@lucon.org> (raw)

When __attribute__ ((visibility ("hidden"))) is used to hide/optimize
a symbol, foo, defined in another .o/archive file, foo isn't marked as
hidden. As the result, I get either runtime or linktime error.
