namelist I/O treats an array like a scalar:

$ cat h.f
       integer a(10)
       data a / 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 /
       namelist /ints/ a
       write(6,ints)
       end

$ gfc h.f
$ ./a.out
&ints
a=          1,/
&end
$ g77 h.f
$ ./a.out
&INTS
 A = 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10/
