These two don't match: running that command doesn't show me c or f77 when I
download core, g++, and gfortran (nor does it show me ada, java, and objc but
that's expected).

Ok, here is the story this is a dup of bug 17814. First f77 is left over from g77, c is valid no matter
what and what you are doing to get the language will not find that. Second core just includes C.
Third, objc++ was added, well the web installation instructions are now correct for the mainline.
