[Bug c/20957] New: Error while compiling kernel

The compile of the kernel (2.6.11) fails on linux m68k, the
machine has a 68060 processor and options to use 68060 instructions
were giver to the compile process.

As it is the standard kernel tool I didn't have any access to the compile
options, I know only the message and the module.

Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.

The version of the ide_scsi module is "0.92" dated 31/12/2002, here
is the comment :

I hope this will last, if there is something I can do, I will do it

I try to recompile 3 or 4 times (it is an old machine) without any success

I am trying to the same kernel with the 3.4 compiler but it is awfully
long, at least 5 hours ...

My 68K machine is out of order, I have to have the powersupply repaired
and I get into problems to find a new supply ....
I think I will get it next week or so ... I hope ... so I can't
give any new elements.
