[hjl@gnu-4 zero]$ cat x.c
int
foo (int y, int x)
{
  return y/x;
}
[hjl@gnu-4 zero]$ cat y.c
#include <stdio.h>

extern int foo (int, int);

int
main ()
{
  printf ("(10/0) = %d\n", foo (10, 0));
  return 0;
}
[hjl@gnu-4 zero]$ gcc x.c y.c
[hjl@gnu-4 zero]$ ./a.out
(10/0) = 0

It happens on gcc 3.4/4.0/4.1.
